P. David Adelson, MD, FACS, FAAP, is the Director of Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and is Chief Pediatric Neurosurgeon at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.He is an internationally recognized expert in pediatric traumatic brain injury, particularly in the acute clinical management of these injured children. He is also a leader in the surgical management of pediatric epilepsy treating children from across the nation. Dr. Blitz is the director of developmental pediatrics at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Gerard A Gioia, PhD. Dr. Gioia is one of the most sought after pediatric neuropsychologist in the nation. He is Division Chief of Pediatric Neuropsychology at Children’s National Medical Center, where he directs the Safe Concussion Outcome, Recovery & Education (SCORE) Program. Dr. Gioia is a clinician, researcher, teacher/ trainer, and public health advocate for persons and families with brain injuries. He has dual areas of interest in disorders involving the executive functions and pediatric concussion/ mild traumatic brain injury.
