The Critical Path Institute (C-Path) and Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) will be holding a joint event in Bethesda, Maryland on accelerating the development of drugs, diagnostics, and devices through partnerships that expand the precompetitive space.
This 2nd annual public conference co-sponsored by the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) and Critical Path Institute (C-Path) will feature cross-sector participants discussing challenges and opportunities in the rapidly-evolving PPP space. The objective is to identify mechanisms for enhancing the productivity of PPPs, coordinating individual PPP efforts to avoid duplication, and adopting best practices on data sharing, intellectual property, and other cross-cutting issues in order to streamline medical product development world-wide.
The opening session will discuss partnerships to advance regulatory science and leverage global biopharmaceutical development. A mid-day session will provide updates of select PPPs, Safety Biomarkers: PSTC & Safe-T, which are delivering state-of-the-art methodologies and tools to foster advances along the continuum of medical product development. The final session of the day will focus on maximizing the value of data shared by multiple organizations, from best methods to success stories and more.
