About the speaker:
Andrew is Assistant Herbarium Curator and Research Botanist at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. He
received his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Arizona, his Ph.D. from Arizona State University and was
post‐doc at ALARC where he worked with David Dierig on the new crop lesquerella. His research interests are very
broadly in describing, vouchering, understanding and preserving biological diversity.
