U of A Seeks Community Feedback on New President

The University of Arizona is offering the College of Medicine-Phoenix campus and community-at-large an opportunity to share their perspectives about the qualities and attributes the next president of the University of Arizona should possess at a forum scheduled on:

Tuesday, October 18,  2011

5:30: PM -7 PM

Virginia G. Piper Auditorium. 

Attendees also will have an opportunity to provide input regarding the issues and opportunities that may come before the new president.

The community forum is open to all members of the University and broader communities:  students, faculty members, professionals, staff, University and community advisory councils, community leaders and stakeholders, government leaders, donors and alumni.

The search committee is chaired by regents Dennis DeConcini and Rick Myers.  Said UA President Eugene G. Sander in a message to the UA community, “I hope that you will be able to attend one of the available sessions to provide your valued comments.”

The Virginia G. Piper Auditorium is located at 600 E. Van Buren St.  Parking is available in the University lot located on the northeast corner of 7th Street and Van Buren.
