Executives from Intel, ASU Women & Philanthropy and the Pipeline Fellowship will describe Impact Investing initiatives that are empowering women locally and globally.  The 2020 Women on Boards luncheon, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Mary Walshok, founder of Global CONNECT, is part of a national conversation on 12-12-12 about the business case for corporate Board diversity—and how we WILL change the current state.  Discussion about expanding access to capital, by increasing the number of women angel investors in Arizona, will be led by seasoned investors having national and local perspective.  Women entrepreneurs will get introduced to the state-of-the-art approach to discovering your business model (Lean Launchpad) and engage in a debate about how we can be smarter / faster at building new women-led companies in Arizona.  See how a pro, Candace Klein, gives a winning 5-minute pitch. (She won $1.7M in 25 pitch competitions)!

Whether you are coming from a corporate, startup, academic or public environment, gather with other trailblazing women on 12-12-12 at the Arizona Biltmore.  Meet Maricella Herrera Avila, COO of 85 Broads, a global women’s professional network that is 30,000 strong.  Make new connections with the one-year old 85 Broads Phoenix chapter and our growing number of community partners in Arizona.  Throughout the day, take advantage of the opportunity for informal mentoring and partner relationships to begin.  Engage in intimate conversations about how we can do more—together—in 2013.
