AZBio is joining the Alliance for Safe Biologic Medicines (ASBM) and the International Cancer Advocacy Network (ICAN) to host a “Biosimilars Policy Forum: Ensuring Patient Safety” in Phoenix, on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 9am-11am at the Flinn Foundation.

This educational forum will bring together policymakers, patients, physicians, pharmacists and other stakeholders to discuss the importance of maintaining patient safety as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) establishes an approval pathway for biosimilar medicines.

The presentations will include insights from Dr. Richard Dolinar, a practicing endocrinologist here in Arizona and the chairman of ASBM, along with a panel discussion on the challenges physicians and regulators will face as biosimilars are introduced in the U.S.

We hope you can join us for an interactive,  informative and educational two hours.
