The Arizona Board of Regents and the University of Arizona will be hosting a special event to welcome Ann Weaver Hart to Arizona.
Currently the president of Temple University, Hart has been named by the Arizona Board of Regents as the sole candidate to serve as the UA’s 21st president.
Our community is invited to meet her in person and via webcast on February 13, 2012.
The Feb. 13 event will be held at 4:30 p.m. at Gallagher Theater, located at the Student Union Memorial Center, 1303. E. University Blvd.
UA President Eugene G. Sander, along with members of the Arizona Board of Regents, will provide brief comments before Hart speaks.
Everyone is welcome to e-mail questions to Hart via uasearch@azregents.edu in advance of the event. For those submitting, please include your first name and affiliation with UA. A select number of questions will be chosen and read during the event, which will be webcast live by Arizona Public Media.
