The Grand Canyon University Foundation will host the Run to Fight Children’s Cancer on March 8 at Grand Canyon University.
The walk strives to raise awareness for children’s cancer, and all funds raised will benefit cancer research, the Phoenix Children’s Hospital and a Chandler-based nonprofit organization, Children’s Cancer Network, that supports children with cancer and their families.
Participants can participate in a 5K at 7:30 a.m. or the 10K at 7:50 a.m. There will also be a quarter mile walk for cancer survivors at 8:45 a.m. Registration for all three events begins at 6 a.m.
